I first stumbled across the japanese (yet again) brand Mother in a rather non-fashion related website: I Love Cat. I love Cat is basically an online magazine featuring interviews and articles about their cats with professionals of creative careers like designers, manga artists or singers, and lots of terribly cute cat photos.
But back to fashion, Mother’s designer Eri happened to be featured along with her two adopted cats Yuma and Coco and I did a bit of research on her line.
Athough Mother’s style is a bit frillier and with more lace than I generally like, I find the current spring/summer colection really beautiful. I love the use of prints, the neutral palette and the loose silhouettes that are so useful when temperatures start rising. The styling of the lookbook is also simple and refreshing with the natural-looking models and those cute sandals with the bow.

Yo descubrí mother hace un tiempo en alguna revista, spoon o SoEn, no recuerdo, y me sucede como con Jane Marple, algunas cosas las amo y otras las quemaría xDDD
