If like me you have been browsing fashion blogs for a while, you must have come across Leah Reena Goren‘s work in some of them, most probably the famous cat-print dress.
Leah Reena Goren is an illustrator based in Brooklyn. She’s got an amazing hand with prints, textiles and surface design and Anthropologie just launched a capsule collection designed by her inside their Made in Kind series (which features some other favourites of mine like Rebecca Taylor).
As for prints the cat-printed dress is obviously a favourite of mine but I’m completely smitten with the Arctic minidress (a dress with bears? yes!), the Amapola shirt dress and the pebble-printed cardigan too. It’s hard to choose I would love any of these pieces really!
Aside from creating gorgeous prints, Leah also has one of the cutest kitties ever! If you like cats and nice things I suggest you check the blog she shares with her (also artist) boyfriend.
