The big news is that Dave and I booked tickets to Japan for May! We had been going back and forth about this, since we’ve been wanting to go for years but never quite found the time (or the money) so when I spotted an Emirates offer on the newspaper that ended that same day I just went for it. And asked Dave later. I’m beyond myself with excitement and in less than a week I’ve already successfully bored everyone around talking about it. Sorry in advance for what might happen here!
At the moment I’m putting together our itinerary, trying to fit in everything we want to see in the 17 days we’ll be there (certainly not enough), so please if you have any suggestions send them my way.
And how does that relate to today’s outfit? It doesn’t at all, except that both the jumper and the skirt are japanese. The jumper is an ancient find at Yahoo!Japan from Super Lovers, which was one of my favourite brands in my late teens-early 20s, they make some really lovely thick, top quality knits.
The duffle coat was a self-present for christmas that I couldn’t resist at the Merc e-shop while shopping for a present for David, and the tights are Hansel from Basel and despite how nice they are, they drive me crazy because one of the legs twists inwards and the knee-pad ends up on the inside constantly. The pigeon in a top hat tote is from the lovely Birds in Hats store.
As you can see I also changed a bit the layout, but it’s still a work in progress, hopefully soon I’ll have the new header ready…
